I paid t mobile £15 to get my phone unlocked at the end of Dec and still not received it. I have emailed and phoned about it several times and have been fobbed off, is this the norm for T mobile?

forget it, i tried to get one, i also paid £15,it was about 5 months after and they didnt have a code for the phone! If the phone you are talking about is a Nokia 6280 then just request your money back, thats what i did!

I had the same problem. I wanted my Nokia N70 unlocked and I paid the £15. They took three weeks to send me the code by post and it didn't work. I'm out £15 now. Steer clear of T-Mobile and get it unlocked on the high street or a market for around a tenner.
Good Luck!!!

No I would phone them up to ask what is going on & why it has taken so long for them to give you an unlock code.

If you owed them money then they would be straight on to you & harrassing you for the money.

I would contact them ASAP & tell them that if you dont get any sense from this phone call then you'll contact somebody who could help you out more such as Citizen Advice Buerau or your solicitor or any other person who knows the ins & outs of these kinds of situations.

Certainly not. I don't know why you sent it to T Mobile when a corner shop would do it there and then for about £10. I had mine changed from Orange to Vodaphone in 30 minutes.
