I have the black LG chocolate phone, and I have insurance on it. I was wondering if it broke and needed to be replaced if Verizon would replace it for a different color chocolate phone? Or if I had to pay extra for that?

Please and thank you.

_If_ your phone is broken, contact the company and give them your policy number (typically if you bought from on-line or a corporate store, it's linked to you phone #). _After_ arranging for a replacement, ask the staff politely if you could change colors. They may be nice and let you.

sure sounds like you plan to break it on purpose to get a different color. you have to be careful with that. just because you have insurance doesn't mean they have to give you a new phone...they can give you a refurbished one instead. thats why i don't pay for the insurance.

Regarding the colour ( if there is another colour) I don't think it matters much. They shouldn't charge you regarding colour change only if the phone is more advanced than the previous one.

If im not mistaken im sure that the trade would be fine, if you wanted a different color.
