God has never attacked me, possibly because he doesn't exist.

We are all god's victims.

Given the prevailing definition of God - an all-powerful, all-knowing being responsible for creation of the universe - nothing can happen to anyone or anything in the world without his/her/its knowledge and approval. Therefore, all things that happen in God's reality are ultimately God's responsibility.

Just look at the way that life on earth is set up: to survive, one must kill other things - animal or vegetable - to live. There is no way around such an existence here, and such a mode of living has been refined to include tyrannical governments and personalities, economic disparity - which I will argue after much historical research, travel and observation is worse now that it ever has been - destruction of the environment - which is an inarguable fact for anyone with any amount of intelligence and ability to observe facts - and even the religious systems.

Think about it. Couldn't God have come up with a better, more sane and loving plan of redemption for mankind than sacrificing his own son to pay for the sins of humans, who were created hopelessly flawed from the beginning? The story of Adam, Eve, the fall from grace and banishment from the Garden of Eden is not an out for God, since he knew in advance what humans would do, and that the creation of a negative demi-urge, commonly known in the west as Satan, would lead to the destruction and downfall of mankind and many of his other creatures.

So, given the context of Judeo-Christian theology (including Islam) all of us must be god's victims. If he could not come up with a better way to save us from ourselves other than the murder of his only son, then I would say we are all subject to his wrath, and that we are all his targets.

In short, God, and the reality created by it, is a scary and tragic scenario.

But of course, God, particularly in its anthropomorphic form, is really a projection of humanity, and used constantly to justify and bolster stupid, violent and disturbing behavior. When God is on "our" side, whatever side that is, then anything "we" do is justified. And when you throw in the preposterous idea that some messianic arrival of god, or his son, or whatever, is going to show up one day to clean up the horrible mess we have made of things, then you end up with what we have now: a world run by arrogant fools, who think anything goes as long as you pray properly.

In this context, anybody who doesn't agree with "my" mode of living and system of beliefs is "evil". Anybody who is like "me" is "good". All of this is merely a further extension of a reality designed to operate on a predator/prey duality, all of which God is ultimately responsible for.

Act of God is defined in dictionary as the operation of uncontrollable forces. When thinking of the forces remember there is The good force of God and also the evil force of the Devil strange how most find it easier to just blame God

God is a concept for the weak minded to justify and answer anything they cant be bothered to face upto.
There is absolutely no evidence that such an entity exists or has ever existed. In fact, it's scientifacly impossible.
Get hit by lightning....blame god.....crash your car and kill someone.....blame god.
Face upto life and accept the fact that were all responsible for our own actions and the outcome of some, roman introduced, mythical entity. What do you think cave men did before the romans introduced christianity???
I could go on, but i cant be bothered.

If you are a believer then every thing good or bad you see may be explained as Act of God. Like our life, animal evolution, the universe everything may be act of God.

If you are a non believer - then nothing is done by GOD. Everything is made by man. Nothing is act of god. In that case if I ask "Who has designed human body ?" They would say "God knows".

I'm not God's victim. But I've been the butt of his pranks sometimes. lol

Anything bad I've been through, is mainly God teaching me a lesson. I don't believe he has victims...although, thinking about it, he did smite many people in the Old Testament...Hmm...

I wouldn't say I'm religious but I do believe in god, he seems to have been there for me when I've needed him the most.
