Women think that abusers like that are "sexy" and "fun". Why is that?

Do you really think that ALL women feel that way because I am afraid that you are very mistaken on that assumption. There are probably some women who allow themselves to be mistreated and there are some men who allow the same actions to be taken against them. This group of people have problems with self esteem and codependence to name a couple. Gender does not decide that a person wants to be a masochist that has more to do with the way that person intereprets their own life experiences, and how they in turn process these events. Male and female both get caught up in bad choices.

Some not all have been subjected to, or one for a better word drawn into such a relationship and attracted to such a man as this.

In the minds of these women there is a distorted view that hot sex and violence goes hand in hand, and that this fiasco has some how become the norm, but those of us who have/are experiencing the love, care, being with a healthy minded man can so easily differentiate between the two very big differences and would consider ourselves to worthy to endure something like this....these women are fueled by the continuous drama in their lives, their self worth, and respect are non existent they quite happily roll with the punches literally, and live in a fast and dangerous lane, and it excites women who know no different and is used to this type of behavior... if they were to meet a man with good intentions who wanted to love them, they probably wouldn't know how to relate to him, and revert back to what is normal for them, an abusive "bad boy."

A woman like this, her motto would be beat me sex, but don't ever leave me, i find it all very sad and pathetic, and the "bad boys" they will eventually leave and find their next conquest to prey on.

Bad boys are attractive because they take the chances and come on to us. We however do not prefer them once we see what they are really like. I found a nice guy because he took the chance and made a move like a bad boy would but he had other moves than the bad boys after that like appreciation and caring and compassion. Keep being good guys just take chances.

Okay, well here's what I think:

Certain women like the appeal of being with a "bad boy" and reforming him. But, some women get caught up in that unhealthy type of relationship, which leads to certain types of abuse, such as verbal or physical abuse.

After she has been with the "bad boy" for some time, the "bad boy" brainwashes the woman into believing she is nothing without him, and whatever he does to her is all her fault.

If the "bad boy" eventually leaves, I think the woman looks for the same type of guy because she feels like without that certain boy, she'd be nothing.

What "women" are you referring to? Some little handful of disturbed masochistic girls that have been promoted by movies and television as some kind of "norm"? Or are these women or a woman that you know personally? These kind of questions kill me. These broad sweeping generalizations about women (or men) are just stereotypical snapshots that don't really ask a question but seem to reflect some conflict in the life of the poster. So, what woman in your life has left you (the healthy man, I assume) for one of these bad boy types?

You have been given some really wrong information about women. Abused women don't find abuse sexy or fun.

Speaking from experience of having been with both types, I prefer the wonderful loving healthy man. I was with someone for many years that was very mentally abusive.... I met him when I was 15, as we grew up he changed for the worse. Now I have a wonderful man in my life. I much prefer this!! Many women get involved at a young age & become too scared to get out when thing s go bad.
Don't judge all women on who they live with... try to look at WHY they are still there, you might be very shocked at how women live.

If you have to ask then you must be young. Very young. Ask yourself this: Would you like to be slapped repeatedly, destroying your dignity with every slap and cheated on? Didn't think so. Come on now...You have common sense. In other words No.

Because there is no way in between anymore. Most men are eithier feminized guys who think it would be really great if a woman becomes president and supreme commander, or they are said bad boys. If they dont go for the first they are stuck with the latter. The 50s man is almost gone for good.

Um...no. If my man slapped me around even once, I'd leave him for good. You just have a knack for finding masochists.
