Oh there are just waaay too many to pick from...but if i had to pick one of the greatest rock bands ever, i´d have to say Led Zeppelin, they were definitely a band that made a huge impact on the world of rock. :)

Whitesnake,Thin Lizzie ,Van Halen.Budgie.Guns and Rosies,Bon Jovie.The only two I haven't seen are Budgie and G and Rs I also like Jethro Tull but they are not really a Rock Band. Hey I missed the Yardbirds thanks for reminding me Cameron,Jimi Hendrix is a fantastic live performer I saw him in 1967 along with The Cream.

Led Zeppelin!
All other rock bands have to line up behind them.
No other band has had as many good songs. No other band was as diverse in their music. No other band has influenced rock music as much as they have. Often imitated but never duplicated!
Led Zep is the one!
