Have you seen Children of Men? That might be the best one ever. I also like Blade Runner, Dark City and the Hithhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

The e book Of Eli: that's about a guy who's travelling round and has the perfect bible. he's a complete undesirable *** and there is countless action scenes with him. The villain needs the bible and he needs to become the perfect of humanity's chief. So especially a lot that's about the villain going after Eli to get the bible to rule over quite everyone. quite quite good action picture.
