Are the US Government responsible for staging the twin towers disaster?

Question

The internet video alleging the U.S. staged the twin towers disaster to justify the Iraq war has been sweeping the world since the anniveraqry. And some of the claims seem impossible to rebut. This appears to be old news but I did not know about it?
Particularly, our American friends, Is there any truth to this?

Have not seen this video,but 2 years ago I down loaded a DVD called 911 IN PLANE SITE September 11 Changed The World This Video Will Change September 11.I don't know if it is the same one but it asks some of the same questions.The main question for me is not so much the WTC as what happened to the wreckage at the Pentagon,and why such a small hole in the walls.
I would also like to know why your President looked so calm on the newsreel pictures when told what had happened,if he was so calm why did he disappear for so long when you needed him to at least address the Nation via television.

So many questions so few answers.

I don't want to believe it, so I still don't.
I believe there was extreme negligence, perhaps even deliberate opportunistic negligence, but I wonder how such a conspiracy could manage to keep EVERYONE that was in on it quiet. Literally THOUSANDS of emergency service workers....
Most people don't want to believe it either, so most people won't.

However, I still can't get it out of my head. Remember when a similarly sized plane hit the Empire State Building? That old thing didn't collapse, and WTC was state-of-the-art. Then there's the whole falling straight down thing...
And the remarks from the Administration that "We need a new Pearl Harbor" before 9-11....and the pilot handgun ban only months before.

They all look shady, but even if it is true,
NOBODY WANTS TO KNOW ABOUT IT, SO SHUT THE F*CK UP BEFORE YOU GET YOURSELF AND THE REST OF US THROWN IN GITMO!!!!!

I have read a report by the celebrated American writer and poet, Linda J Cirillo and she has stated that in everything that we do from now, will always carry the possibility of conspiracy theories and otherwise.

Most people who have access to computers or media, are sucked in by the overwhelming majority of cultural events. What is over-looked is, that the sheer scale of these out-pourings, over shadows the true depth of human misery world wide.
People forget the community spirit close by. Mass hysteria is a far greater tool than individual compassion.
To understand this conspiracy then you must look at accidental history compared to conspiratorial history. In short, some men have influenced war at the expense of human catastrophe. Lives are expendable where it comes to New World Order......!!!.

Think about other ideas, the man on the moon wasn't really there,

haliburton mandatory to construct an oil pipeline via iraq, this usa wasnt going to enable them to do it and not utilising a solid reason, so the towers fell which gave haliburton the reason to circulate into iraq

There is much evidence to suggest that the Americans knew it was going to happen, thats a fact. Whether or not they actually did it themselves remains to be seen.
