amping Sites near Voyageurs National Park in Minnesota

Voyageurs National Park offers a great nature experience, and you may experience it in much the same way French explorers did more than 200 years ago. Nearly all of the campsites are accessible only by boat. People also use houseboats to camp on the lakes.

There are 200 primitive campsites along the shores of four lakes: Kabetogama, Namakan, Rainy and Sand Point. The sites have a tent pad, fire ring, primitive toilet, picnic table and a bear proof storage locker. Houseboat sites have the same setup with mooring posts for the boats.
