The world does not make any mistakes. The individual persons however do, and these are not mistakes from their own individual point of view, but reasonable and optimal behavior. The ability of a human individual to take the others' point of view into account does improve "through out history", albeit very slowly.

Well, that's simply the outcome of life. Lol. You really can't say that though, because the world has improved a lot. Especially with the major wars n close minded stuff. :) Remember WW1? WW2? Well I doubt there would be a WW3 anytime soon, because most people would reject to violence. :) Then on the other hand, I guess you are right. Many people are still racist. (Just a smaller proportion are.) People still commit violence. Nobody's perfect. n_n

Well, maybe we don't know any better....maybe all we can do is make mistakes....or maybe mistakes is all we have to work with...or maybe both, or maybe not.

The fact that we know about mistakes is great and it holds the hope of the realization of righteousness in itself. We only know about the right thing because we do the wrong thing. The essence of truth is the realization of it.

There's always hope, even in God, and most times, only in God.
