Lauryn Hill's "the miseducation of lauryn hill"- i can really to a lot of the lyrics which suggest the need to feel accepted by one's peers while also rejecting the betrayal of others who appear to be supportive influences...the scratchy sound in the backgrounds mimics the sound of an old vinyl record which almost suggest that this song has a timeless quality to it...in other words, it's a beautiful song that should be heard by everyone! great question btw
