i would say wade is. it's really not a fair comparison because of the positions but, all around i would say wade is better. dirk is nice for his size but wade can dominate a game by himself. i don't think dirk can without help from his supporting cast.

First for the question, the people who say you can't compare are right because their both different style of players and positions.
For the people who are still complaining about foul calls and favortisim towards wade need to stop being sore losers. Wade takes it to the rim more then any other player except maybe AI, who ALSO get's a lot of free throws. Chances are your going to foul a guy who has the speed of Wade and can get to rim almost any given time. Wade literally sacrificed his body that Finals, and won what he deserved. So stop making excuses and except the fact you lost and finally give the Heat and Wade their credit.
Also wade and lebron are good friends and never called out lebron, he just said he doesn't see the explosiveness out of him at the moment. After the game Lebron was even interviewed about it and knew Wade was just being a friend in concern. As for Nowitzki he deserves it, the guy's no better then Wade for saying they lost the finals and that the Heat didn't win it.
And the other person saying Wade isn't valuable since Shaq is out, you shouldn't speak either. Wade has put up #'s better then his previous years and has kept a team near .500 while missing games injured and with a very frustrated, injured, and beat down team. Take Josh Howard, and Jason Terry, have a change of coaches, and other injured players away from Nowitzki and lets see them still dominate. It works the same for any team. You loose a superstar and your starting pg, it's going to effect your team. Can't expect a guy or even a team to adapt that fast to win every game for you. Doesn't work like that...

Wade is better at creating his own shot, but Nowitzki is a better pure shooter. Wade is far more injury prone too due to his style of play. Nowitzki does not seem to care for the leadership role also...wade loves it. This really is a unfair comparison because they are such different players. We will never know how good Wade is until Shaq is gone, Kobe has not won another championship without him. Now compare him to Nash....Nash wins!

I don't how that one guy can consider DWade more valuable to his team than Dirk. If this were the case, maybe they would have a winning record. With the record as it is, looks like a combination of Wade and Shaq is the only thing the Heat have.
Dirk is doing things that a 7 footer isn't supposed to be capable of. He is reigning 3-point champ, and he can shoot freethrows better than anyone his height.
Dirk also plays against tough competition at the forward spot in the Western Conference. I can only imagine how unbelievable Dirk and the Mavs would be if they were in the East and had to face the cannon fodder that the Heat regularly face.
DWade is amazing, both will be in the hall of fame. But chances are Dirk will have two rings before Wade gets his shot at another

well it should be dirk, but since wade gets all the cheap foul calls, most people will say wade. you breathe on wade and its a foul. refs just kiss his @$$. who does he think he is calling out lebron and dirk like that. the heat shouldnt have won the championship anyway, the refs gave it to them. wade shot 97 FTs tell me theres not a conspiracy going on here. wade is a great player but dirk doesnt get cheap fouls like he does. hell not even kobe gets as many cheap foul calls as wade does.

Wade because he won the finals last year, plus hes alot more valuable to his team then dirk is.

One is a guard the other is Power Forward, they do completely different things for their teams. This is like asking if Nash is better than Duncan.
