what's the name for people who hold signs on the side of the road advertising businesses?

you know, like people dressed up in monkey suits, or the statue of liberty, waving signs around, trying to get people to go into places. i think that would be so much fun, and i'm trying to do a job search for it but i have no idea what they would call it. anybody out there one of these people? what's your job title?

look...i just moved to california last year and i f-ing hate the people here. i've had jobs serving the public here and if i have one more i might go homicidal. the people are rude, lazy, and ignorant. the only other jobs that don't focus on the public are flooded with non english speaking people. so basically i'm just trying to figure a way that i can make income and not have to talk to anybody.

I don't think a single job description name exists for this.... used to be called 'sandwich boards'.... because you wore two boards - one in front and one on your back - held by straps over your shoulders - also known as walking billboards

i'd make you circulate to the zoo and leap into the Alligator bump into.
