Maybe they get tired of trying after having been harmed by abuse as a child or youth and don't know they can do better. Maybe they know they are doing something wrong, maybe like it, and refuse to change & become hardened in their attitudes. Maybe they are afraid they can't change and instead of fervently praying for help, lash out at God in fear and anger. Maybe they cannot comprehend what God really feels & thinks concerning them, because they didn't grow up with any really good examples of christian living or fatherhood.
Maybe they have never been informed that a study was done, involving numerous twins, demonstrating that homosexuality is not a genetic matter. If it were, both twins would turn out gay all the time, but the results showed a far different result, even when the genetics were the same ( in the sets of twins).

Others have answered your question better than I could, so I won’t waste my time repeating stuff.

Ken S; you are a bisexual guy with a slight attraction to women and a bigger attraction to men. You have already admitted that you have fantasies about both men and woman. You have admitted that you’ve not slept with a female. You already know that you don’t have a choice about your own sexuality, only a choice about the actual sex act. Your sexual hang-ups don’t just relate to gays, I’ve read some of the things you’ve said about straight females. The gay world and straight world are both seedy places, but you don’t have to live like that. I met someone, built up a friendship, and then had a romance before there was anything sexual involved (it doesn’t have to be like dogs jumping on each other in the park). I had the same hate and the same pain as you in my past. Coping with being gay was only part of the problem, finding someone with the same moral views was even harder. You can e-mail me if you ever want to chat; others have been in your footsteps before you.

Just WHO do you hang out with??!

1.) Homosexuals have heterosexual parents, siblings, friends. I have yet to meet a heterophobic homosexual. Though we do REALLY dislike homophobes.
2.)ANYONE can be promiscuous. MAYBE there would be more monogamous homosexuals if our relationships received the same kind of social and legal support that heterosexuals get every day!! It is very damaging to a relationship if you are harassed, persecuted, beat up or killed because of it.
3.)I have only met a few homosexuals who blame God. But they are really being hurt by homophobes in the religious community who use God as a club to beat us down. God loves all his creation and doesn't make mistakes. God made me who I am, gay, left handed, hazel eyed and all.

I do not blame god for me being a homosexual. I know I was born a lesbian so there is no need to point fingers at anyone or thing. Plus I can not blame the xtian version of god because I do not believe in him...

1. There is no such thing as heterophobia. That was made up by homophobes as a means of 'hitting back'.

2. All males are as promiscuous as they are allowed to be. The only reason homosexuals seem to 'sleep around' more is because they are lucky enough to be hanging around people (men) who want it as much as they do and arent trained by society to pretend they dont.

3. No one 'blames god' for being gay, they assert that the idea that god made them the way they are is simply more credible than YOUR idea that god hates homosexuality. Clear now? No, I didn't think so...

All those big words and only two misspellings. I'm impressed.

And if you mean by saying that being gay isn't a choice they made, that they're blaming God, well, if you believe in God, then they're right.

You have no idea if they're promiscuous. Unless you're having sex with them, you can only generalize based on what others have told you.

So go find some other stupid question to butcher.

Who says they blame God? I think God is on their side. Besides, not all homosexuals nor heterosexuals are promiscious. There are some in both categories. Do heterosexuals blame God for their lasciviousness?
