I tried The Sims, but could not really get into it, but I know a lot of people that love it and you can control their lives. On the other hand, about a year ago, I started the role-playing game World of Warcraft, and it ROCKS!! :) You can create your own character and choose their professions, quests, etc. It is a super fun game and loaded with different things you can do..... I still have not become bored of this one..... check it out! :)
P.S.- I heard the game Second Life is really cool, but I have not checked this one out personally...... good luck and have fun!: )
