can an ipod work on an old pc?

i need to know the maxium oldenss for a pc to be for it to work with an ipod.

max oldness for ipod to work
will be
windows 2000
with 64mb ram
and 1 Ghz +
and some 100mb's of free space

my windows 98 won't recognize itunes 7, but this PC will, so i don't know, but windows 98 is out.

if its able to download iTunes then yep.try it.
