A good friend is one who knows all of your limitations and still likes you. In other words one who likes you for what you are and not for what he/she wants you to be.

Some one who is always there, reliable, loyal, caring, a good friend genuinely feels for ya. Yeah a dog is a good 'friend', but cant ever be the same as a good person who is your friend. A good friend isnt judgemental, but at the same time points it out when youre wrong, has your back..a good friend should be the kind of person that you can sit in a room with, absolutely silent, and it isnt awkward at all, that you can be yourself around, and is real to you -that part is key. So generally they should be there, and be good to ya. Meaning you can trust them, and depend on them, they should be looking out for you.
I got your back
You got mine,
I'll help you out
Anytime.
To see you hurt
To see you cry,
Makes me weep
And wanna die.
And if you agree
To never fight,
It wouldn't matter
Who's wrong or right.
If a broken heart
Needs a mend,
I'll be right there
To the end.
If your cheeks are wet
From drops of tears,
Don't you worry,
Let go of your fears.
Hand in hand
Love is sent,
We'll be friends
Till the end.

Friendship involves a concern for and involvement with the well-being of another. So, let me tell you the example is likfe the Fame is the scentless sunflower, with gaudy crown of gold., But friendship is the breathing rose, with sweets in every fold. A friend knows how to allow for mere quantity in your talk and only replies to the quality.

Trustworthieness is one of the best qualities a friend could have. You have to know that they'll stick by your side all the way. Some of my friends ditched me, and that was a big mistake choosing them as friends. They also have to be honest, and a little fun doesn't hurt either!

My good friend is an excellent listener and never judges me. She is always there when I need her even though she lives in Australia and I live in the U.S. and I am always there for her.
