I would stay away from slow dances.
Instead free dance, which means no dancing with anyone in particular. Let loose and enjoy the music. Slow dance with friends, you don't have to touch when slow dancing, be inventive. Who knows you might start a trend.

Dance and have a good time....your "love" doesn't need to be everywhere you are, nor should you having fun hinge on that person being present or not.
