Do you remember from history the famous quote attributed to Lenin about "useful idiots"? Lenin laughed at the unimaginable naivete of the American Liberals for believing his lies. He just called them "useful idiots". Now we have people who are duped by the Islama-fascists. They have this stupid notion that, if we just leave them alone, they'll learn to love us.
Seems strangely similar to the idiots Reagan had to contend with, who advised him to play nice with the Soviets. Reagan replied: "Accommodation is based on wishing not thinking, and if the wish doesn't come true the enemy is far stronger than he was before you started down that road.
The other way is based on the belief (supported so far by all evidence) that in an all out race our system is stronger, and eventually the enemy gives up the race as a hopeless cause. Then a noble nation believing in peace extends the hand of friendship and says there is room in the world for both of us. We can make those rockets into bridge lamps by being so strong the enemy has no choice, or we can bet our lives and freedom on the ******** theory that if we make him strong enough he'll learn to love us."
Al-Zarkawi implored his followers to just hold on, because eventually he reasoned, stupid, naive American "anti-war" demonstrators will derail support for Iraq, and they'll win by default. So, this terrorist scum and his ilk LOVE people like you. You just fall into his trap.
Bush has made certain that this war is fought far from our land. If you make the tragic mistake of believing in the terrorists, they'll soon be on planes coming here.... and it won't be to shop at Macy's.

No, but if the dems didn't criticize the President, we might not look like such easy prey to the world. The war may have been done by now. Chi guy, I doubt that conservatives have used the word "hate," but regardless, it is a matter of looking weak to the world.

In my opinion from my own observations, if Americans didn't criticize our President so much, it would give less ammunition to the outsiders, who feel comfortable enough to have so much say about a Government that doesn't effect them. But, that is just my opinion.
