when you wear heels you're not supposed to put too much pressure on the heel because it can throw you off. Try walking on the balls of your toes, [the flat part on the bottom of your feet between your toes and the arch of your foot] it will help with stability. Also, continue to practice at your house, looking like a dork at home is no big deal compared to how it will look stumbling across the quad at school. lol, just practice until you get it down. good luck!

Keep practicing.

If you are new to heels, it will take a little time to figure things out. Until it becomes second nature to you, it will feel awkward and clumsy. We all did at first. You are so aware that your balance and posture have been shifted because of the heels. Being boots, they also do not allow your ankles to flex the same as they do otherwise, so you are more conscious of your knees bending. That's normal.

Take your time, and keep practicing. Before long you will slip your boots on, and stride off without even thinking.

What exactly do you mean by you can't walk in them without bending your knees? Walking requires some knee bending....

Just keep practicing around the house and in your backyard. It's the only way.

I always look like a dork when I wear heels too... My friends try to tell me to walk heel toe, heel toe, but I always walk like I'm wearing my riding boots, heavy on the heels... Good luck with your boots though!

There's really nothing for it but to keep practicing until you can walk in them. Have you tried starting with lower heels until you feel comfortable with them? Some people, like me, never master the skill at all; but maybe you'll be able to.

If you have good posture, and they fit completely with out any doubts they wont make you look like a dork

Keep practicing. Practice on carpet since it is harder to walk on and will take more practice.
