OK, thank you for responding to my help message. I need to know how long do you have to leave your nintendogs unattended before they run away from home? Like when you leave your nintendo ds on nintendogs, then leave nintendogs on the main menu for a while, then your dogs run away from home and come back with a cool present, well I need to know how long to leave them there.

I left it on for 2 hours and went out and my dog came back with a stick, tissue box,m tennis ball ect....
Wash them and feed them first. Only one dog will leave.

The other answers are right but i wanted to add that if all your after is presents do this: Save the game then go for a walk. Go through as many blue question marks as you can then go to the park. In the park change the dogs collar so the game will save then turn the game off. Now the pressies you went through before you visited the park will be saved but you can still go for more walks without waiting half an hour. Good luck!

I'm not really sure but all I did was stay at home and not do anything (like not push any buttons and not feed them not play with them etc.) and then one of them just left. It took about half an hour. Also about the "Cool present" trust me it's not really that great of a present usually what you find on a walk nothing worth a lot.

I know that if you leave them for 2 days they get famished (I don't remember the name for if they are thirsty...) So I'm thinking 3 to 4 days. I'm not 100% sure. Your puppy will come back though, I think it may be mad and start to kick its feet at you and things like that. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. Have Fun!

I didn't know they did that ! that sounds really cool ! I am just afraid they will run away and never ever come back ! that would make me really sad ! Sorry I can't help you , I wish i could ! your new friend sunsetatmaui .
