I took my ACT today for the first time. I not too sure how i did. I came out of the test with mix feelings. I'm not sure i could have done better, but to tell you the truth i barely prepared for it. I want to take it again, but i don't see the point. So my question is do i send the result, that i don't know yet to any colleges? My mother thinks i should because if i did end up doing good then why shouldn't colleges see it. But i don't want to till i am absolutely sure i did ok! I have to decide ASAP!
So what would you do?

if you dont think you did that good, take it again. wait to see what you got though. I dont know if you have time to do that or if you are going to college pretty soon. there really isnt that much you can do to prepare for the act in my experience. i took it 3 times and got the same score all 3 times. You can send you results to colleges and then if you take it again, they will take the higher score of the 2. it's good to take it again in my opinion. dont take the SAT if you dont have to, it's way worse.

When I took the ACT I took it twice and did better the 2nd time because I knew what the test was about and what they covered so it was easier to study for. The colleges always take the best score and review that one. Just like in college courses if you take a course twice they take the higher grade and apply that to your GPA. I think that if you feel that you did not do good then take it again. If you do better then it can only help you. Good luck!

Send out your results and wait for the response. If the response is good, then keep the results-if not, retake the test. I know that doesn't what you what, but you may later regret it. And, colleges will always take your better scores.

You kinda have to study for that test because they put alot of trick questions in there. If your not sure baout how you did you should wait to look at the results for your self.

Unless your unusually smart you need to study for any test.

The colleges will just look at your best score, so do it every time.
