Please give us a few ideas for Oahu that maybe we would miss out on from lack of knowledge.

In oahu, you pretty much can just do anything. there's the ala moana mall, waikiki, the north shore. Personally, I think the lagoons at ko olina are better beaches, less rocky, less strong surf, with stuff right there, like restaurants, a spa, etc. they also have a luau in ko olina that's really great. take a drive to the other side of the island, do the sandbar if you want, that's cool. Oh, also, you should do the art museum, that's cool, and the aloha market.
