number one thing, dont stress lol, then you'll get acne problems and that just sucks and stress is never good for you anyways. first off, ball park the cost of everything and see how much money you or your parents are willing to spend. get a dress and shoes at least a month before prom (you can always get your dress fitted if necessary), dont wait til the last moment and remember, shop around and even look at thrift stores or ask around to see if your friends or relatives have any dresses you could wear, and just cause it's expensive doesnt mean it's necessary. have the flowers preordered, find a hairstyle and figure out what you're doing with your nails (if you plan on wearing gloves then what would be the point of painting your finger nails?) plan out everything before hand but dont drive yourself crazy over the whole deal, it's not worth it. most important thing, have fun, be creative with it and make it worth it

um, Ok,... date? get one... dress? get one...
before the day..if you are getting nails done, do so.
if you are buying a flower for dates tux..do so...(some schools don't go that dressed up for prom)
on the day....get hair done if you are doing that...and make sure to wear a button down shirt. Pulling one on or off to get dressed later will mess up the hair.
Get ready
Dance! haha
