How far along in your pregnancy were you (in weeks) when you went into labor with your 1ST child?
Just curious! 39 wks along and anxious/excited...

41w5d with my first. That's actually the average time for a first time mom if there's no interventions like inductions just because or scheduled surgeries just because. Good luck!! You're almost there!!

I was induced at 39 weeks for a medical condition. It is normal to go as far as 42 weeks, though.

I was 9 days early with my first son...so that put me at 38 weeks, 5 days.
But every pregnancy is different. My second son was born 2 days after his due date...my labor was induced with him...and he actually weighed less too!

With my first child i went into labor at 38 1/2 weeks... i was shocked.. but 2nd child i didn't go into labor and they had to induce... i am hoping i go into labor around 38 weeks again.. lol goodluck.. your baby will come when she or he is ready...

I didn't go into labor on my own with my first. I was induced at 42 weeks. Same with number two. And I went into labor with number three while getting ready to go in to be induced. LOL And number 4 I was induced due to medical problems on my due date..

I went into preterm labor with my 1st at the start of my 7th month, so I was put on bedrest the rest of my 3rd trimester. I was due on Jan 2 and was induced Dec 31st because my Dr was going out of town and I was considered high risk (he wanted to be the one to deliver him).

I had my son on his due date, which I thought was pretty neat! Then I had my daughter at 39 weeks... Now I just found out yesterday Im pregnant with number 3! YAY!!!
