No, not disgusted not really. Sometimes there are chicks that won't talk to you because they are so ashamed of their weight their self esteem is shattered. I feel uncomfortable around this kind of people, some skinny or normal people are like this too but I see it more often on overweight female teenagers or young female adults.
On the other hand I've met fat people that are just a blast, it seems like almost every person that has made pee from laughter is overweight, my impression in general is fat people just don't feel comfortable with themselves but no I'm not disgusted by them.
I've met people that do say mean stuff about them, when you confront them about it they say it is because they can't imagine why somebody will let herself get THAT fat and it is disgusting, I try to reason with them about not exactly being a choice but they don't seem to understand it. I think it is lack of Empathy, some people just lack empathy for other people suffering or in trouble, this is the kind that feel nothing when they kick a dog so don't try to understand them, there is something wrong in their brain that makes them think " Me , myself and I".

personally, i dont have anything against large ppl. i think its the persuasion of the media along with the idea that toothpick skinny is the new 'hot'. i prefer my gf to have a little meat on her anyway. social-psychologically most guys prefer the same thing because it shows a sign of good health and fertility.
The modeling industry has actually taken certain steps to ensure that models aren't becoming too under-weight and dying. they have passed a law stating that they must maintain a weight of 125lbs. if they are 5'10" or taller or the their agency must drop them.
I think a healthy weight should be between 130- 170lbs, depending on how u feel with the weight. most of all make sure u eat healthily and exercise. below are some sites that promote all natural and organic ways of pursuing weight loss. please do urself a fovor and look into them and not those unhealthy pill and potion over night diets, they only hurt u in the long run.

I'm not disgusted by fat people. I feel bad for them 'cause I once was thin and 'beautiful'. Now I'm 33 and things got bigger. I have lost aboout 30 lbs. from where I used to be. I feel better and psyched about it. So much that I'm starting to go to the gym to work out. I am gaining my weight back, but it's muscle not fat. If you go work out, don't freak out when you don't see that much weight loss. You're burning fat and building muscle at the same time and muscle weights more than fat. Don't be discouraged, eat healthy foods and keep burning up that fat.

Personally, I feel saddened by the behaviour that led to a person being overweight. Usually these behaviours are overeating, lack of exercise, sedentary lifestyle, or total neglect. If a person is overweight for medical reasons (thyroid problems), then a person should not be disgusted by the condition.
Congratulations on your weight loss. And for the people who made you feel bad, feel sorry for them. They must have sad lives.

i am not disgusted by them...
i feel sorry for them... they have issues as much as someone with an eating disorder such as anorexia or bulimia... or it may be a health problem... who am i to judge?
sometimes i wonder about the ones who complain and then don't try to do anything about it... but, like i said... that's none of my business...
and i know that karma comes around real quick... you just never know if your thyroid is gonna mess up or if you're gonna have some health issue arise to where you can't work out for a long time and you put on weight...
i try to always put myself in someone else's shoes...

They don't bother me. Greedy, gluttonous people bother me, but they're not necessarily fat. I don't feel sorry for them either.
Telling someone that they disgust you, unless they've done something wrong is extremely immature and wrong, especially if you don't know that person. These people are likely insecure themselves and are looking for ways to feel better by comparison, so don't let them bother you.
Congratulations on your weight loss. I hope you are being safe about it. Good luck. :)

how can people call fat people lazy if they have a job???? it takes so much work and energy to just work a job... and it takes all your time, so no wonder people don't exercise. they're too busy surviving to look hot for you. if you sit for 8 hours + at your job and then only have time for fast food, DUH of course you're gonna be fat. it's our culture.
also it's harder to exercise when you're fat. you try carrying around 80 pounds on your back every day and then go work out.
also where's the disgust for the skinny people who get drunk and puke every single weekend? that's pretty disgusting, right?

People tend to be disgusted by anyone who is not like them. We stare at large people, very short people, people with disabilities and people who dress differently. I try, and sometimes fail, to judge a person by what's inside, not what physical traits they have.

I'm not a fan of fat, but if a person has a good heart, it goes a long way. For example, I'd rather work in a cubicle next to a fat sensible person rather than a beautiful, shapely person who believes in abortion.

I'm not disgusted, I don't feel sorry cuz everything you do are your own actions and you know what's gonna happen when u don't eat healthy food or eat too much.
I don't know, but they certainly don't disgust me, they're humans like all of us.
