I've heard that gas is more expensive on the weekends, and am not sure if that is true or not. Is there a day of the week when gas is cheapest?

I've been trying to observe, but with gas prices fluctuating so much from week to week, I can't figure it out.

Maybe a Wednesday, but their really isn't a designated cheapest day to buy gas. It really depends upon the market and where you buy your gas. Try http://www.gasbuddy.com to search for the cheapest gas in your area. That's what I do. -L

I'm not sure about the actaual day, but i do know that the best time to get gas in the coldest time of the day, usually when the sun is not up.

gas expands when it gets warmer so it will fill your tank up faster, but when it is cool, you get more for your money.
