Check the protection tab first, but also check the cables between your computer and the printer. Perhaps one loosened or became disconnected. Only recommending this because I went nuts looking for a reason my printer quit on me. This was it.

Does the paper feed at all? Have you printed a test page from the printer itself? Does it do anything? Does it sound/act like it's printing? If not, try downloading the latest print driver for your printer from the web. Then try again. If it does respond but pages are blank then check the cartridges. Are they proper cartridges or are you a cheapskate like me who buys recycled ones? x

Hmm. What kind of cartridges do you have?
My first guess would be that the protection tabs have not yet been removed. On ink cartridges and toner... they have a little tab connected to a sheet of plastic. This needs to be removed first to release the ink to be available for printing. I'd double check that. And let us know if you need any more help. Good Luck!

I think the problem is with the printer driver. reinstall printer driver. or you can test printer connectivity by going to printer properties and then maintanance and then print a test page.
don't forget to check your printer cables. I hope if you can install your printer drivers successfully, your problem will be solved.
if this doesn't solve your problem then make sure your cartridge is ok. you said its new but some time it can be damaged by touching (by hand) the sensor of the cartridge while replacing.
Thanks.
