In Britain, probably! But as far as I know, the tallest man alive lives in China and is 7 feet, 8.95 inches. The tallest woman alive lives in the U.S. and is 7 feet, 7 inches.

No, I saw this programme the other night on BBC Prime about this really tall man living in UK, but from Tunisia, he has some thing wrong, he is around 9 feet.
