The argument that gay marriage has anything to do with rights or justice is a facade. There are plenty of ministers who conduct marriages between gay couples therefore if it were a simplier, pre social security time, that would be all that would matter. The fact is no one cares about who recognizes or approves what. Gays simply want the economic advantages married hetero sexuals get and the government doesn't want to open that can of worms. The best resolution is for the government to stop recognizing any marriage and displace themselves from peoples personal lives, a place they were never intended to be in the first place.

It has brought about a great result, as the people in 22 states JUST SAID NO to this ridiculous special right.
Because the people in those states stood against The Homosexual Agenda with great courage, they now won't have to worry about men marching down the aisle with their males dogs, or people marrying corpses within a few years.
It is to be noted, however, that homosexuals ALREADY HAVE the same rights as every other American - bar none. They can marry the opposite sex person of their choice like anyone else, but they can't marry according what a marriage ISN'T, just like everyone else. That is called equal rights and everyone has them.
People who want to change the law from the normal to abnormal can always go to some rogue sick state, like Massachusetts or wherever, or they might want to go to a remote island if they prefer.
1 MAN + 1 WOMAN = MARRIAGE :)

I don't understand this question. Civil rights are basic, human rights for every man, woman and child.... regardless of race, creed and sexual orientation. Why does there have to be a new perspective on that?
