I went back to college at the age of 35, at which time I was a working single mother of three children. I received an Associates Degree at 37, a Bachelor's Degree at age 42, and my law degree at age 46.

I was 22 when I whent back to college. I tried when I was younger but I wasnt mature enough-all I did was party, and failed all my classes.
I'm 25 now, and will be 26 in march. I'm about to finish my AA in Education, but I also got 3 other degrees also. I have never had to work, fortuntly for me I got lucky and my hubby supports me while I go to school.
Being a single mom should not discourage you from going to college, but you must know it wont be easy. Your professors wont care if you dont have a baby sitter, and they wont care that you didnt have time to study because you were busy with the kids.
I'm a mom of 2 kids, and I go to school FT, do an internship, and take care of the house/hubby-but I dont work I honestly dont think I could with my busy schedule.
It really depends on what degree your getting though. Most colleges offer online or telcourse courses now days. It would be much easier for you to take some of your classes online or through a telcourse.

I went to college after 30! Earned several degrees including a Masters. Managed a full time job for the Masters and shared child rearing with my wife. And it was well woth the effort!

Yes...I earned enough credits to apply for my associate in science 3 years ago. I never went through the formality of a graduation ceremony ( 1) I was'nt interested 2) there was'nt enough time). I tried immediately to go to a 4 year university but, the class times clashed with my job.

Yes. I finished up my bachelor's at 27 as a single father of a 3yr. old and working fulltime, with the added handicap of having no family within 1K miles. Remarried and pursuing my masters now. It's not an easy road but my family has definitely benefitted. I don't have any specific "tips" for accomplishing it, you just have to make up your mind to do it. If I can, anyone can! Good Luck!!! :D

I went and had a full time job, it was almost impossible, and it took me years and years, and my GPA suffered.
