The New York Yankees, but only if the pitching improves. If not it's Boston all the way.
It's always a safe bet to pick the Yanks. After all they have won 1 out of every 4 World Series since like 1922.
Anyway, The Red Sox seem to have a mental block or something and I think they put too much pressure on themselves to beat the Yanks even when they are the better team.

The Yankees, theyre going all the way this year. Boston traded away practically the whole team. Toronto never does well against the Yankees, and Baltimore and Tampa Bay haven't done anything the past couple of years.

The Yankees will win unfortunately because the Red Sox bullpen is brutal. Boston will blow a lot of late inning leads.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here, and say Toronto. With Boston winning the wildcard and the Yankees just a smidge behind in third.

not the yankees because:
1) they're old, old, old.
2) sheffield gone
3) i dont think chien mien wang will have as great a record this year. he seems like a one year/one hit wonder, like kent bottenfield was a few years ago. wang doesn't really have dominating stuff. the al east knows him better this season.

I really feel that Boston made more moves to improve themselves over the off-season. Toronto and New York won't be far behind, though.
