Does nobody understand that when you go out to vote for your favourite politician all you are doing is making matters worse. It is only when nobody votes that we can send a message to these lying bastards we don't want any of them.We need new politicians that have to be held accountable for what they promise or they lose their jobs.Let me ask everyone this question. If you were going away on holidays and you asked me if i knew someone that could watch your house while you were gone, and i answered "yes i know 4 people (i say 4 because there 4 major political partys in Canada) but each one is a thief". What would your answer be? We all know what your answer would be,you would either cancell your vacation or find someone other than the 4 i suggested.Knowing that 90% of all politicians do nothing but lie, cheat, don't keep promises ,only do things in their own self interest, and are definitely over payed. I ask again why would you go and vote for anyone of them?If you vote you change nothing

I don't know what elected officials are paid in Canada, but I can assure you what they are paid here in the US is less than the jobs folks leave to serve their county, state , or the federal government.

An accusation that 90% are liars & thieves is pretty strong without some evidence to back it up. I have known a number of elected officials personally, & the job is challenging. No matter what you do someone doesn't like it.

Seek election yourself!! It's always a possibility. Or work actively for a candidate you believe in......but then you would have to actually meet one, & not just respond to news & gossip.

"If you vote you change nothing "

excuse me?

no by voting you follow a democratic process that elects representatives for government

if you don't like the candidates, find a different one or run yourself

but to advocate not voting is a weird option, b/c then you have no say
