newspaper routes , your local newspaper company
& baby sitting are two most, as far as places, babysitting for neighbors close by that you know ect.
mcdonalds I dont believe they hire under 16, but i dont know all the state laws, in maine have to be 16 or older.
perhaps nursing homes may hire they use to call them candy stripers, they help the elderly, around in nursing home or might be able to help in the laundry departments.
another job is pet sitting or dog walking as well, perhaps could find some neighbors whom have dogs that need to be walked and sometimes they dont have time to do it ect.
also lawn care, shoveling, mowing , raking, or house cleaning for neighbors ect.

The ones you gave as examples are excellent places to start. Since you want to work, it is about time you learned one thing that most people do not learn until they enter the job market - jobs do not grow on trees. If you want a job, you need to persue one. And it will not take finding the "magic" one place or one job that either sounds good or others tell you will "definitely" hire you. None of these places may hire you.
With an estimated 43% of all Americans age 18 or older unemployed, there are millions of people competing for you for jobs. Some businesses may have jobs specifically suited for you to do, but many do not have the extra money or time to spend on a young kid nor the liability and responsibility to look after you all the time as well.
That is why you need to rely upon the age old saying "necessity is the mother of invention". Kids can get away with doing oddball, ad-hoc, strange and specialty jobs that nobody does or has ever thought of. Or they can create a totally new type of job and/or thing and/or service and market it in their own way.
Be creative and inventive. This is the time to explore things like this. You will become a much better person for it, and the future will hold many more opportunities.

Start your own business. You can do lawns in the summer and shovel snow in the winter. Or you can start a pet-sitting company. Babysitting is also an option. I don't know where you live, but I think you have to be 16 to get a regular job.
