all the above are very good movies watching Slapshot at this time...mine would be..Rudy then i would say the Original Brians Song ans the Original Bad News Bears and i also like Breaking Away....very good movie and on of Daniel Sterns early movies along with Randy Quaid and Jackie Earl Haily and John Ashton

Personally, I thought "Eight Men Out" about the 1919 Black Sox was very good! I also enjoyed Bull Durham, The Knute Rockne Story, Tin Cup, and Miracle... all of these were good and about (mostly) disserent sports.
