i'm texan, born and raised, and very proud.
i'm also extremely liberal, an athiest, politically active, and articulate, for the most part.
i love my state, even if there is a lot of stupid things associated with it. i try not to be one of those elitist snobs with their clove cigarettes and oh-so-witty play on the word "texas." (pronouncing it "tex-***" is not original, so whoever says this, stop chuckling. you're an idiot.)
i guess the difference between me and them is that i still believe in being who am in instead of pretending otherwise.
