I am getting a laptop and i want to get the sims:life stoires. I have a computer now and many of the sims 2 games but i have read reviews that said the sims: life stories is more boring than the other games. Is it worth it?

I currently have a computer and the Sims 2 and its expansion packs and I love the game...but I am going to get a laptop and was considering getting the sims:life stories...many people say its boring compared to the other sims games...i know it has story mode..but does it also have a regular mode and all of the features on the sims 2?

I love the Sims games but I was actually disappointed with Life Stories. The two story lines are over fairly quickly (I finished them in two days) and then it's just normal game play but without all the options you have with the Sims 2 expansions like going to college or having a business. I got bored with it. The only reason I like it is that I'll have something to keep me entertained on my laptop while traveling.

It has a regular mode and is pretty much just like the sims2 regular version. There are a couple different/new items. And I trying to get used to playing it without any expansion packs. Overall, I have not yet decided if it was worth it. If you have a laptop (which I do not) it might be more worth it for you so you have your sims on the go! lol
