I took 3 preg test 1 week ago all positive (2 early response and one clear blue).
Peroid should of started on Monday (did not). Friday started spotting a little brownish color. Saturday morning woke up and was bleeding a lot more red in color. No clotting. Having cramps on and off. I went to the ER they did blood work and ultrasounds. Doc stated ultrasounds were normal no cists or problems with anything. The blood test came back negative for pregnancy. What is up with 3 home test saying pregnant and blood test not......any one else have this issue??????

The home tests may have been defective or you may have used them incorrectly. I'd trust the blood work more than a home test, but you could always get a second opinion if you wanted to.

It does sound like an early miscarriage. There is not a possibility of three defective pregnancy tests. I can't really see that happening. But the blood test isn't wrong at all.. those are accurate and more trustworthy. Well I did have a blood test that came back once that said it wasn't sure if i was pregnant or not b/c the hcg was up but not up enough for me to be pregnant.. even though i had 6 positive home tests.. and one urine test at the docs proved i was... so sometimes blood tests are iffy... but if you started bleeding that would be a sign that the baby didn't stick to your uterus and then you miscarried... sorry for your loss..

I had the same thing happen to me today MAY 22nd ,09....... I took 3 different tests one digital and 2 regular test ALL positive , I went to the doctor today and they said it was negative!!! I was so angry and confused! I'm trying not to get too upset! But I'm thinking that I drank too many fluids before the test was done and I was told that ,that can effect the test because the hormones are being washed out... I'm right there with you!!! I'm wondering Am I pregnant or not! I wasn't offered a blood test they just told me to come back in a month! I feel like I'm dilarious!!!

yeah sounds like a miscarraige to me. Sorry! I doubt all 3 home pregnancy tests were wrong of defective. Maybe 1 test but 3? I don't think so. Sounds like you were pregnant but started bleeding more in red in color, and that's probably when you had the miscarriage. And then the blood test says negative. Spotting is usually normal in like the first few weeks. But bleeding alot more red in color isn't a really good sign and is usually a definite sign of a miscarriage.
