Democrats have a wide field of Candidates in the running but the Republicans have so few, and they are bottom feeders. Take the ex-mayor of New York for example. He is hardly a candidate you can take seriously. And I hear Newt's name being thrown around. Another joke on the American voter. Where are their real candidates or do they actually have one.

They have none.
They know they're time is running out, so they've sunk to new 'attacks' like Pelosi and the Plane, Hillary and the age-old sex scandal and, of course, the BIG issue of Barak smoking marlboro.

Can you imagine having a president named Newt?

are you a real and true republican? because if you were you would realize that we don't yet have any good candidates. BUT, McCain is not liked by hardly ANY republicans really, Giuliani is a great leader and a great politician, but he is very liberal when it comes to some very touchy conservative ideals: abortion and gay rights. Which means he may not appeal to the hard line conservative. Giuliani is, however very popular in the polls- he is actually edging out ahead of the Socialist Clinton (sigh of relief). The one good, true republican who's name HAS been tossed around, but he has not come forward with a run yet is Gingrich. He would do a lot for this country and would be a great republican president, but he hasn't committed to anything yet. So far, we have a bunch of no-namers (my favorite being Tom Tancredo- Congressman from Colorado), a liberal republican (McCain) and good leader, but liberal on social issues (Giuliani) and a great presidential nominee that wont say if hes running or not (Gingrich). hope that clears up the republican presidential bid for 08 for you as of today. (could change at any minute)

Because the convention hasn't started yet.......Obama, Clinton & Edwards have all said there running but the Democratic Convention doesn't start until '08', so their just earlier, because they want to get out there to be noticed as soon as possible. The republican party, will come out next year, if not sooner...McCain from Arizona is wanting to run. He's the senator of Arizona. And there'll be plenty more, such as the Previous Mayor, who was Mayor during 911.....Julliani, is his name I do believe. There all just making noise, about it for now. We'll all start, hearing who's running probably within 6 months, or so.... Hillary's got my vote!!!

I will vote for Ron Paul if he runs.

I think Giuliani is a serious candidate.

I think the Democrats have only two candidates who could seriously win. Tom Vilsack of Iowa and Bill Richardson of New Mexico.

Look back at all the Democrats that have either ran or have actually become a President....... They were nothing to bark at the moon about, which proves that the Democrats are not fussy. I believe the Republicans tend to put forth more of an effort of choosing the best person for the position..

You mean "America's Mayor"?

The man who transformed New York City from the "Crime Capital of the USA", into the "Safest Large City in America"?

The man who's leadership following 9/11 led to him being named Time's "Man of the Year"?

Also, we've got a legitimate war hero in McCain. (None of that Texas Air National Guard crap)

The Democrats are fielding a socialist (Hillary), a populist (Edwards), Obama (I like him, but he's far too inexperienced), and Richardson (the only "legitimate" candidate in my eyes... and he's got a snowball's chance in hell).

I'll take my chances with Rudy.

We're smart! We are watching the Democrats trip themselves up and make a mess of their champaign without sidetracking them. This way we'll know what not to do, have our defenses in place and of course win. There are some in the talking now. We still have way more than enough time left. It's better to keep it short, look what Hilldemon did in the short time she's been out.

There is quite a range of Republican candidates including Rudy Guliani, Senator John McCain, and Representative Hunter Duncan among others. I do not believe Newt wants to get involved with politics again right now. To see bottom-feeders, you need to look no further than Senator Edwards or Senator Clinton. Both parties have pretty ****-poor choices right now.

John McCain is a perfectly legitimate candidate well worth the vote.

I don't know, but won't it fun to watch and listen as the Democrats beat up on each other for a little while?
