....they see the truth about themselves or the other people that are involved in their situation? Even when they start to add things to their own answers when specifics were not there in their questions, that you get someone picking your answer just to tell you that you were wrong, but many answers were given as well to them, but they didn't pick them? Are they in denial of hearing the truth about themselves or do they just like the drama and just don't want to change? I did get points for them picking my answer, so they must have seen something there that revealed the truth about them. So what do you think when people choose your answers, what are your thoughts?

Sorry for so many questions, or if I confused any of you.

I have seen some people ask questions, and YES, they are in complete denial, when every answerer tells them the same thing, and they go back and keep arguing by adding more details. They were hoping someone would support their denial. Ha. I think there are people that really want some insight to a problem, and they are hoping to find something here that they didn't think of already, even if they don't chose that answer as the best. I think there are people here just for entertainment value. I find that most people chose my answers (when they do) because it's logical or it presents something they already knew but wanted confirmation....Why do you chose answers?

For me...

It's not about the points I receive but knowing that the person that chose my answer thought it best suited their particular dilemma in some way. No two peoples troubles or worries are exactly alike but it does help to know you are not the only one that is going through this or this has happened to before. Unlike a lot of people in here I think our youth has a lot of input as well as some of the older people that are more experienced. I like to read responses from many different people after I write my own, just to see what others thought or feel.

This may be true and some of the reason why.... I pick some answers because they are well worded and put nicely and answer my question in depth. There are many reasons why people pick answers that they like. Personal preference mostly and it is their choice to pick.

i believe people pick the answers they pick because it shed some light to what they were asking.. Granted sometimes it seems like we are answering some of the same questions everyday. What ever answer they choose help them come closer to the answer they were looking for especially when it is coming from people they don't know or never spoken to.

Maybe Yahoo should have the best answer chosen by the originator but also show the best answer chosen by the public.

All of you are questions are valid. Yahoo allows the originator to choose the best for them. After all they are the one needing the answers not to mention they have all the mitigating circumstances but I still like my suggestion above.

I always see the best answer and it does help me think about the problems I face just like everyone faces in life, but the truth is it helps relieve the tensions built up inside you.
