There are plenty of sizes for shoes, in all different styles. But socks only come in one size for adults. The problem for me is, I wear a size 9 shoe, which puts me at the low end of the sizes for socks, so mine are always way too big.

I wear a size 8.5 shoe. I say the same thing. Just get socks size (9-11) or boys size large or adult size medium.
I know, a pair of men's size socks and the heel is up around your ankle. That is a real pet peeve of mine. I really hate socks that don't fit. I don't think I've gotten socks from the men's section in over ten years.

Its because most people can fit into one size. If you have small feet, i would recomend buying plain white or black woman's socks, they offten look the same as mens, just smaller. If not you'll have to find a special store that sells small socks. good luck!

Try boys, girls, or simply a different brand of socks.
If nothing helps, write to the companies, maybe you'll get a free sample out of them, or start a new trend...
