The moon has an angular diameter of 0.5 degrees. What is the moon's angular diameter in minutes of arc?

Remember that a degree is divided into 60 minutes of arc, and each minute into 60 seconds of arc.
So to convert 0.5 degrees to minutes of arc, you multiply 0.5 by 60.

0.5x60 = 30

So the answer is b) 30 minutes of arc.
