If are referring to private citizens they are not. However if you are referring to lower level officials working in his administration, obviously they want to keep their careers.

Look at every single person who has left the Bush administration, almost none of them paint him in a good light. They are just looking out for themselves. I mean look at what they did to Joseph Wilson's wife as revenge for him daring to not agree with them.

They put her life and the lives of all her contacts at risk by exposing her, and then they say it doesn't matter, because she wasn't that important.

People speak out all the time, but the shock value of that type of action is negligible these days. The media easily shifts to whatever sex scandal that comes up and no action is taken.Nothing happens.

I think that it is mainly the lowering quality of our media at fault, We don't exactly have hard working journalists anymore, we have pretty vacant talking heads and glossy news shows that are entertainment. People are overstressed by work and too tired to care about anything that cannot be grasped within 5 minutes.

Where have you been!? You can't watch the news or pick up a newspaper without seeing someone speaking out about this Adminstration. Seriously, no one is afraid to voice their opinion.

What a laugh! Who are these "afraid" people, pray tell? Definitely no one around here. I've seen death threats against the President here.

They aren't afraid to speak - just nothing they say makes any sense.

They are not afraid. This past election is evidence of that.

Americans speak out a lot. Unfortunately, our "representatives" are not listening or acting. Very little of what we want is carried out.

On election day 2004, I stood on a corner in downtown Charlotte with a sign that read "1,100 Dead, Bin Ladin Still Free" We are not afraid to speak out. I only wish it was only 1,100 dead.

Yeah......I've found it very difficult to get people on here to speak their minds. LOL........If they were in China they would have been long gone and never to be heard from again.
