I need some guidance in writing a project proposal. This teaching event will be held in the community, but I am unable to find a sample/format for this type. I can only find grant and business proposal formats. There is nothing of this nature in my textbook and I've never written a proposal of any kind before. Any help to get me started is appreciated. Thank you

Proceed as follows:

1. choose a subject (it has to be "researchable", that is, it cannot be too broad or far-fetched);
2. select a bibliography (some articles and a few books);
3. ask at least two research questions (which will be related to your objectives); for example:

Research questions:
(1) What are the learning styles of the participants in this study?
(2) Are the intuitive learners better writers?

Main goals:
(1) To classify learners as (A) sensorial or (B) intuitive, according to the Myers-Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI);
(2) to assess the writing ability of both the sensorial and the intuitive learners;

4. Data collection:
(A) describe your subjects: number, individual characteristics, etc.
(B) methodology: collect your data by means of questionnaires, interviews, observation, field work, etc.

5. timetable (specify how long it will take you to develop the project and how long it will take you to collect the data, to analyze it and, then, to write and rewrite it).

6. introduction: write out an introduction to your project (underline the relevance of the topic in your field of study; justify your choice; state the objectives and/or the research questions, as shown above);

Format of the project:

"Title"
Introduction: objectives (research questions), justification;
Data collection: participants (or subjects); methodology (interviews, questionnaires, etc.);
Timetable
