Most people would say for changing their color. they change their color by mood though not by will. Most people don't know this. Octapus can camoflouge by will though. Chameleons are also famous for their long spitting tongus. and last of all they are famous for being really cool pets in my opinion.

Chameleons can camouflage into any color, they can move their eyes separately (One can go right and the other and go down left) and their tongues are longer than their body size. They are also great climbers.
