It's funny, cuz whenever i go into a mall store the ppl who work there stare at me funny. Am i just being paranoid?? I mean they are all nice to my friend and all but whenever they greet u they seem to be talking to my friend instead of me. And they don't seem to want me in the store. Is this right?? How do i ignore this feeling???

Are you doing anything to make the employees feel uncomfortable? Assess what part of this you may be contributing to it. That may provide information for you.

When people treat me this way i simply confront them. Yep, i ask them directly something to this manner, "i am just curious...um...maybe it is just me...but it seems whenever i come in here you seem to only pay attention to my friend when greeting me and also seem to have a problem with me by the way you look at me...i just want to clear the air and make sure there isn't a problem?" You might be surprised at how their attitudes change towards you the next time you visit. Try it, do'nt be scared to take action and make people accountable on how they treat you. I see people commenting here that there possibly is something "wrong" with you. That doesn't give anyone the right to judge you by outward appearances and therefore stare at you. That is no way to handle business and is highly unprofessional. Please confront these pathetic people immediately and let them know that you for one are not putting up with it.

A lot of the mall stores don't have a lot of customers...the clerks act like hyenas...I know the feeling, actually, I wonder sometimes, too, if I am doing something wrong???

they r fine w/ u in the store, this has nothing to do with you. r they staring at u, or ppl bhind u, or the stuff bhind u?? ur friend might go there alot so they know her more. trust me, u have nothing to do with it. act like ur bffs and they wouldn't do anything bad to hurt u. try 2 get 2 no them.

She's probably like my younger sister, a flawless stunner who stands about 6' tall and has rich looks. I always feel a little like chopped liver when I shop with that glamazon.

Ive always had the same problem i dont get it either I'm not ugly, maybe people are just intimidated by us? I say screw what other people do or think and just have fun :)

Ask you friend to be honest with you. Are you dressed inappropriately? Too much make-up? Carrying big suspicious looking bags?
There is something about your appearance that you need to change.
