Could someone who know about ukulele please tell me about the different kinds ands what the difference is? thank you.

in much the same fashion as a human voice, an individual ukelele is "voiced" a certain way.

my voice might be quite deep, while another person's voice might be a little higher, and a third person's voice might be very high. the names given to these ranges are things like Baritone, Soprano, Alto, Tenor, etc. theres a few more out there, but in Ukeleles, you usually only see Soprano and Tenor stocked at music stores. there are others, but you'd probably have to special order them since they're somewhat uncommon.

you should be able to find basic Uke's starting around $40 or so. they'll be playable, but not fantastic. for closer to $119 or so, you'll find some that are put together a little nicer, feel a little nicer, stay in tune a little better, etc.
