The penguin forward ryan malone has been mention to be traded for a while but that has not happened. I have also heard ruutu has also been rumored to be traded but honestly I think that with the way the team unless they get a more talented winger than what they have they will not make any noise by the trade deadline. The penguins have four solid good lines. They don't need an enforcer in today's nhl but another winger like a semin or somebody like that would help. I would like the pens to try to get him if they only have to give up a draft pick. Semin I think would be a major boost for the pens offense without the pens having to give up too much. Washington might be desperate enough to let him go.

The Penguins have been all quiet as far as rumors go, but there has been one I heard of.
I've heard they are looking for a rental D-man and one name that has come up has been Paul Mara of the Bruins.

Too many teams in the league are buyers and so no one is selling to those teams. In other words they really don't have any good deals to make so I don't really expect to see any deals made.
