When did Billy Joel do Vienna?

I have it on my ipod and don't know what year he did it and it's bugging me so if you could stop my disease called, "On The Tip Of My Tounge".

He recorded it on "The Stranger" album somewhere between '77 and '78. I always thought he romanticized Vienna powerfully with this song, literally and figuratively. It was one of those songs that helped me get through my teens. Terrific.
