What do you think is the youngest and oldest playing age for kingdom hearts 1 & 2. Do girls and boys like this game for the same reason? Why?
My son and I have been playing KH1 together since he was 3 back in 2003. I originally bought this game for my step daughter who was 6 at the time, but my 16 year old step son became hooked on it too. We all like it for different reasons. My youngest likes the ease of Sora's fighting controls. My step daughter likes the music. My older son and I like the mystery and darkness of the story line. It's funny, the fact that the game rehashes Disney stories doesn't diminish from the fun and interest level.
KH2 is even more fun for my kids to play and I have to admit that I appreciate the underlying message the game puts across about friendship and heart.
So...who out there belongs to this following of Kingdom Hearts?

Well the game has many diffrent fans. People who love final fantasy love how it mixes in final fantasy in a more humerous game than the final fantasy's. People like younger children probly like it for the disney characters and the fact that its easy to understand. Adults would like it because it's interesting and find the storyline appeling. The game has great music and really good gameplay too. I think that kingdom hearts is supposed to appeal to nybody who loves game's with a great storyline and great animation. So i think that it belongs to everyone.

It'd be helpful if you mentioned WHY you love KH and FFVIII and not FFX, so that it'd be helpful in reccomending similar games. Games in the FF series don't play the same as their predecessors. And I personally loved X, and didn't care much for VIII's draw/GF system. I really liked FFIX. The playing system there is not extremely complicated, and the story is pretty good. Also FFXII would be a good choice for it's extremely involving storyline and it's active battle system, that's as close as you'll get to real-time Kingdom hearts style play on the final fantasy series so far.

kingdom hearts has 3 sets of crowds. the first is the people who like disney and and enjoy the game. the second set is the people who don't care that there're disney characters in the game and play it anyway. the next set is the people who hate the game and won't even touch it because of the disney characters. all in all though both kingdom hearts games are great! it materrs how the person playing the game feels there is no age limit.

It's Disney. They designed it for family play, and apparently you have discovered the family part.

The game is for nine seconds old to nine hundred years old. It's very appealing!
