I downloaded Sims 2, Sims University, Sims 2 Night life and Open for business. But when I try to plat it a little window Pops up that says....
Failed to find any DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapters in this system! Please make sure you have DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapter and have installed the latest drivers provided by the manufacturer. This application will now be terminated.
But I have DirectX 9.0 because I can play other games besides the Sims 2. What is going wrong??? How do I fix it??

I don't really know if this will help, but try:
1. start> All Programs> Accessories> System Tools> Disk Cleanup To free you Disk drive of any uneccessary files
2. start> All Programs> Accessories> System Tools> Disk Defragmenter To properly arrange you computer system for it to run better
3. start> All Programs> Accessories> System Tools> System Information To look up important things for you computer like, memory and DirectX to see if there is any problems with it that need fixing.
Again, may not be very informative, but has a lot of successful effectiveness that you might see will help you in this problem or/and many more.

try to back up your games if you started already. uninstall and reinstall it. you may have to do the same thing with directx 9.0
